This policy explains what personal data Rutken collects, why, and the choices you have. We try to collect as little as possible and to be plain about what we do with it.

What we collect

• Account information. When you sign in, your identity provider (via our authentication partner) shares your name and email address so we can create and secure your account.
• Billing information. For paid plans, our payment processor collects and processes your payment details. We do not see or store full card numbers; we receive only what we need to manage your subscription (for example, a customer reference, plan, and status).
• Support and correspondence. If you email us, we keep that correspondence to help you and improve the product.
• Limited technical data. Standard server and security logs (such as IP address and request metadata) needed to operate the site and API securely.

Rutken's analysis runs on your own machines. The apps and binaries you analyze, and the findings produced, stay on your device unless you explicitly choose to send them somewhere.

How we use it

• To provide, maintain, and secure the Rutken service and your account.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To respond to support, sales, and other requests.
• To detect, prevent, and investigate abuse or security issues.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to run Rutken, under agreements that limit their use of your data to providing their service to us: an authentication provider for sign-in, Microsoft Azure for hosting and email delivery, and Dodo Payments as our payment processor and merchant of record for billing. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage for essential purposes only, keeping you signed in and remembering lightweight preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then for any period required to meet legal, tax, and security obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email privacy@rutken.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.

International transfers and security

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, and require our providers to do the same.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; we will revise the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
